StockX is an online marketplace for sneakers, apparel, electronics, collectibles, trading cards, and accessories reflective of the culture.

In a marketplace where items move quickly and authentic products are top of mind for users, the UX copy and features of the StockX app need to be clear, consistent, and reliable.

Therefore, through this spec project, I created a messaging and image upload feature and audited and re-wrote the current UX copy for the StockX iOS app to address clarity, concision, and user’s challenges with products received from StockX, which can impact StockX business needs.

First, I did desk research to understand StockX’s brand voice and audience, competitor analysis to see the differences between StockX from other online sneaker marketplaces, GOAT and EBay, and then conversation mining to see users’ pain points.

Next, to address user pain points with authentication as it drives users away from the StockX platform and to its competitors, I designed and wrote the copy for a new UX feature: Seller Verification

Next, I completed a copy audit of the StockX App UX writing

Then, I re-wrote the copy for the StockX App
